Quo Janice Forsyth: “Fiona tell me about yesterday because it was the launch and you launched it and there was music too so, can you describe what that was like yesterday?”
Quo Fiona “…Oh it was amazing, I mean there was a lot of folk there. And of course The Great Hall in Stirling is such a space and Paraig, to be fair, he sang the Floo’ers o' the Forest and it went right up to the rafters, and there was not a dry eye in the house, and then to go over and then see Iona’s paintings and I could tell, watching folk that they were going round again because its the kind of work that you have to take your time over and you get more and more out of it and it was just an amazing experience.
Dr Fiona Watson, Historian, Stirling University
Quo Iona : “ I love this creative cross-over that Fiona, Paraig, and I were able to present yesterday at Stirling Castle. There are so are so many ways in which art dovetails. You could hear the passion in Fiona’s voice, and in Paraig’s singing. You know we can do it together. I love this cross-over that makes an exhibition like this grow arms and legs and its universality and its importance for today still matters hugely..."
